Manchester United’s teenage sensation, Marcus Rashford, scored twice after a three-month goal drought that drove him crazy, and me too. However, I knew he’ll soon get over it and he did to my delight, on Saturday.
Rashford was delighted to finally end his goal drought after scoring twice to help Manchester United to a mauling 4-0 FA Cup third-round tie victory over Reading at Old Trafford on Sat Jan 7, 2017.
At a point, Rashford himself admitted he was growing frustrated with his inability to find the net. He finally did!
The United and England international told reporters:
“Halfway through the period of not scoring, it was a bit frustrating. But after a while I started to settle down again, getting some assists, and I was starting to play better football. And now the goals have come so I am just happy.”
With a double strike Marcus Rashford brought his goal scoring drought at Old Trafford to an expected ending . . .
Up Man U!
