Manchester United manager went to ‘war’ at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon and wasn’t defeated but destroyed by Antonio Conte and his Blues men. It was a very disappointing day for me.

Jose Mourinho’s team were outclassed, outmaneuvered, outrun, outplayed and outperformed – and finally destroyed by the Russian billionaire – Roman Abramovich at a ‘bridge too far’ in West London.

United legendary manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, was there and he did not exhibit a pretty sight at all – I felt his pain. The Red Devils disappointed me and I must tell anyone willing to listen to me for the umpteenth time – the Manchester United board should’t have engaged Mourinho to begin with.

Four-zero (4-0) is a lot of goals for a top world-class team like Manchester United. I am so upset with Jose Mourinho, the United board and the downward trend of United’s football including the awesome £87 million shelled out for the ineffective Paul Pogba.

Chelsea fans loved this, cheering every pass made by the hosts. On the flip side, it was an afternoon to forget for Jose Mourinho on his return to the Bridge | MANUTD.

Imagine the first goal just after 30 seconds of the start-up whistle by the referee. Chris Smalling who was touted as a creative defender fumbled like a novice and allowed the first goal at approximately 30 minutes at the start of the game.

This is a painfully big scoreline for me. It’s all over at Stamford Bridge and it is a day to forget for United on Jose Mourinho’s return. Pedro’s goal after 30 seconds was a killer early blow and strikes by Cahill, Hazard and Kante followed on what was a disappointing day for Manchester United.

Jose Mourinho was destroyed at the Bridge. I have never been so downcast like today. So long as Jose Mourinho remains at Old Trafford, I doubt whether anything good will come out of the Theater of Dreams . . .

Up Man U!
