Manchester United has agreed a move by Paul Pogba after weeks of negotiations. United agreed a huge fee for the Juventus star to complete Jose Mourinho’s summer spending spree. I can tell you now that Paul Pogba has completed a record-breaking £100million transfer to Manchester United. The France international is set to be officially confirmed as a United at Old Trafford player. Pogba completed a move which was finally sealed on Thursday.
Pogba completed a medical in Los Angeles and will wear the No 6 shirt, according to reports. United are now set to officially announce Pogba’s arrival to Old Trafford shortly. Reports reaching me indicate that the deal for the 23-year-old France midfielder is done after Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola held further talks with Juventus officials and lawyers in Turin on Thursday afternoon.
United and Juventus have agreed to pay a fee to Raiola with part of his 20 per cent bonus being accounted for in Pogba’s overall deal. It is understood, however, that Juventus will announce the fee at £84.3m on account of the tax they are due to pay on the transfer. Pogba signed a five-year contract worth £290,000 a week with United.
Manchester United is now set to take back what rightfully belongs to the most successful football club in the world – after more than two seasons of sharing space under the first-four position in Premier League ranking. The pecking order of United at the top of English football and European domination appears to be nigh.
Up Man U!
