Marcus Rashford is better than Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi

Marcus Rashford is so deadly in front of goal his stats are putting the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi to shame compared to when they were his age.

The majority of Britain’s 18-year-olds are in the midst of their revision in the run-up to their A-levels this summer, and while Manchester United starlet Marcus Rashford is also one of them he also happens to be creating a path to footballing stardom.

His seven goals in 12 games blows Ronaldo’s six goals in 40 games for United out of the water.

The Portuguese was 18-years-old at the time and ironically enough, that was the year United last won the FA Cup.

Rashford will be hoping he can replicate that success with more goals in the FA Cup semi and potential final.

Potential final.

Ronaldo’s first season for Man Utd – 6 goals in 40 games

Rashford’s first season for Man Utd – 7 goals in 12 games

Rashford is also outdoing five-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi as the teenage Messi took almost two seasons to get the United forward’s total before ending his second La Liga campaign with eight goals.

Goals scored in all competitions since Marcus Rashford made his debut:

The 18-year-old has also scored four goals from just five Premier League shots and most of those goals came against Premier League big boys, Arsenal and Manchester City.

It has been a remarkable season so far for the young forward and with an FA Cup semi-final match versus Everton to come the young lad will probably be forgiven for taken his eye off his A-level revision!
