Sunday’s Barclays Premier League game at Old Trafford kicks off at 16:00 GMT.
After the international break, Manchester United will be looking to build on the encouraging derby win over Manchester City last time out. Results permitting, a win could see United leapfrog West Ham United and Man City into fourth place in the Barclays Premier League table and put Louis van Gaal’s side in a prime position to secure Champions League football for another year.
German midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger is set to miss the game with a knee injury sustained on international duty (during training). The full extent of Schweinsteiger’s injury is yet to be determined.
Ander Herrera and Ashley Young could return to the squad after recovering from groin problems, while Phil Jones remains a doubt. United captain, Wayne Rooney, is expected to return to training next week, but Luke Shaw and Will Keane are still unavailable.
I can’t wait for the United vs Everton matchup at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Up Man U!
